Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and any display name you choose.

Workout and plan data. We store the workout plans you create, scheduled sessions, and check-in records so we can track your accountability streak.

Location. If you are a SweatTax Pro subscriber, when you check in at a gym we request your device's precise location to verify you are within the gym's geofence. We store only a confirmation of the check-in — we do not continuously track or log your GPS coordinates.

Motion data. For timer-based at-home workouts, we sample the accelerometer to confirm physical activity during your session. This data is processed on-device and is not stored on our servers.

Progress photos. If you choose to take or upload progress pictures, those images are stored securely and are only visible to you. This feature is entirely optional.

Subscription status. We store whether your SweatTax Pro subscription is active or inactive. All billing is handled by Apple through In-App Purchases — we do not see or store your payment card details.

Friends and social data. If you add friends within the app, we store those connections so you can view each other's accountability activity. You control who you connect with.

Push notifications. We send you workout reminders and streak alerts. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.

Usage data. We may collect basic analytics (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) to improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity.

• To verify gym check-ins using GPS geofencing (SweatTax Pro)

• To manage your SweatTax Pro subscription status

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase – our database and authentication provider
• Apple – for push notifications and In-App Purchase subscription billing
• Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

• Subscription: Manage or cancel SweatTax Pro at any time through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Location: You can deny location permission. GPS check-in (Pro feature) will be unavailable; timer-based check-in still works.
• Progress photos: Entirely optional. You can delete any photo at any time from within the app.
• Notifications: Disable in your device's Settings app at any time.
• Account deletion: Go to Settings → Delete Account in the app, or contact us and we will delete your account and data within 30 days.

SweatTax is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted storage and HTTPS for all data in transit. Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple and never touches our servers.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
